You'd be surprised at how many random people that you don't know will stop for a quick snapshot if you ask. I love to look at peoples faces. I always look at the eyes first to see if I find kindness relected in them and a few fine lines of crinkles around them where they smile frequently. Faces can tell a story with no words. You can tell a lot about a person by their face like, whether they are basiclly happy or sad, have a hard job, have a lot on their minds, whether they are mischievious or meloncholy. You can tell if they laugh and smile frequently by how deep the smile lines are around their mouth. I love some of these snaps of children that show their unassuming innocense.
"Beautiful sights find my eyes,
with your face so true colors shine,
a face so true it is your own,
I smile because I'm not alone,
with your face so true colors shine"
~~~Cassie Gaulnier~~~
Again, I saved my favorite for last. This is my friend, one of the Foster Failure's, and their horse Hank. Hank is of course, totally blind. Foster Failure is a beautiful person because he has such an amazing heart. Hank is beautiful because not only is he a handsome steed, he has an unsinkable spirit. Foster Failure still rides Hank on the trail. Hank runs when Foster Failure is on his back because he knows that he will be his eyes FOR him. Hank gets led to the corral and once in, knows his way around. I am in awe of Hank and I am in awe of the Foster Failure's love and devotion to Hank.
As you can see, as usual, I had a very hard time choosing which pictures to use. I have many, many more but tried to narrow the choice down to photographs that I felt showed the essense of the person with no words. Everybody's beautiful......in their own way................
Sunshine in my eyes can make me cry.
Sunshine on the water looks so lovely.
Sunshine almost always makes me high".*****
