Tuesdays Touring Newnan....City Of Homes......

Well, it's Tuesday again. I live in a part of what is know as the Southern Arc. There are so many things that I love about our town. Rolling hills, quiets evenings on the deck, broom sedge glistening in the morning sun, knowing people when you walk down the street or through the supermarket but mostly I love getting a friendly wave from people I know and even some that I don't know.

Come take a little stroll with me through Newnan..........

This is a opossum that graces my hearth. Gypsy Sista gave me this opossum and I promised "Midlife Trucker's Wife" that I would post it today. She has one as well...she must have a Gypsy Sista too.

Birdbaths in a garden with white picket fences (this written while the tune "A Few Of My Favorite Things" rolls through my head and heart).

This is a beautiful house that I pass almost everyday. It sits up on a hill and always looks so very Southern to me.

Kids in my neighborhood riding a little homemade "sled" made of a cardboard box and riding the little hill by their house. They were more than happy to take a moment out of their kiddo business to strike a pose.

This is a beautiful red barn that I always admire when I pass by. Prince and I are going to paint our barn these colors. Of course, ours is not quite so big.....not by a long shot.

A house that I love with a white picket fence all the way around it off of Roscoe Road. Everytime I see this house I think "Happy people live here in this place".

Cows grazing through our little bit of snow that we got Sunday afternoon. It's all gone now, but it was lovely while it was here.

A little snowman that someone made on the side of the road complete with carrot nose and branchy arms. Sooo cute :)

After a long day, Prince and I went to one of our favorite Mexican resturant's La Fiesta. This is our favorite waiter Rene. We always have the Fajita Burrito dinner and its always deliciouso. We were so hungry and it was so good that we almost la licked the plates.

Come down to Newnan and see us some time. We'll serve you fresh smiles, sweet tea, friendly conversation in our little town. It's the best of both world's. City convenience and small town charm. This place is a hidden jewel where Prince and I can expect the unexpected, discover hidden jewels and still hear the train whistle in the near distance all the while knowing that we are home for good.
