Our grandkiddo Scully lives here now.
I am very please to introduce Sculley, our first grandkiddo. Well....I suppose grandbird is a more appropriate name. Sculley is a Quaker Parrot. Miss Nan left him here. We are excited to be grandparents. And who wouldn't want to be a grandparent to this amazing fellow I ask you?
Sculley is just hilarious. I'm an early riser. Always have been. First thing when my feet hit the floor before sunrise, Sculley says "What doin?". That starts my day with a smile. According to Sculley, he's not just a pretty bird......he's a "pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty bird". I have been giving him 1 piece of yogurt covered mango first thing every morning. I'm trying to make him see that Prince and I love him and will care for him.
Now, I haven't had birds since I was 14 years old (no jokes please). I had to call Auntie Mom's step mom to make sure that we are doing right by grandbird. She was really helpful as always. Prince and I made a trip to our favorite local pet store yesterday to make sure that we have all the necessary grandbird tools. This is going to be a re-learning process.
Sculley says lots of things. Of course Prince has already started to try to teach him to say "Bloody Hell Ole Boy". Reggie girl says that is contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Whatever. Whatever makes Prince happy.
Anyhoo.........if you're local to us, please come on by and meet Sculley in person. He's a pretty cool grandkiddo.
