Tide gets it whiter than white........

Subject: A letter from a consumer of Tide

Dear Tide:

I am writing to say what an excellent product you have! I've used it
all of my married life, as my Mom always told me it was the best. Now that I
am in my fifties I find it even better! In fact, about a month ago, I spilled
some red wine on my new white blouse. My inconsiderate and uncaring
husband started to belittle me about how clumsy I was, and generally started
becoming a pain in the neck. One thing led to another and somehow I
ended up with his blood on my new white blouse! I grabbed my bottle of Tide
with bleach alternative, and to my surprise and satisfaction, all of the
stains came out! In fact, the stains came out so well the detectives who came
by yesterday told me that the DNA tests on my blouse were negative and
then my attorney called and said that I was no longer considered a suspect in
the disappearance of my husband.
What a relief! Going through menopause is bad enough without being a
murder suspect! I thank you, once again, for having a great product.

Well, gotta go, have to write to the Hefty bag people.

The moral of the story: NEVER mess with a menopausal woman........

Steady on,

Reggie girl

  1. A CLASSIC! I may have to go back and read your blogs from the beginning. It's strange because I set out on Blogspot a few weeks ago so that everyone could read my blogs but instead I'm becoming so addicted to reading other people's blogs I hardly have time to write anymore!

  2. Thanks B&B!! I know what you mean. I actually started blogging to just try to make sense of this crazy ride we call life. Sometimes writing things down helps them to make a little more sense you know? I too though have begun to spend quite some time reading other people's blogs. Many are fascinating. Many, such as yours ;=}. God bless you and tell Butler Midlife says hello (I'm a total animal lover!).

  3. I enjoyed my visit to your blog, you write with humor and proper English Language structure. I have to admit that I am POST menopausal and it makes some major differences in how you see life. One problem seing is having difficulty reading color print on black background. but I will make every effort to add you to my blog-around-routine.
