I'm setting aside Tuesday's to spotlight our beautiful, charming town. I have a couple of new bloggy friends......one from China, one from Malaysia, one from Germany, one from Brasil and quite a few in America. I want to share the beauty that our historic town has to offer.
Front view of Sargent Baptist Church on Highway 16. This cross on the front is spotlighted at night so that you can see it clearly when you drive past. This is where Prince and I worship.
Sign in Fabiano's Pizza. The pizza is pretty hard to beat here and the atmosphere is fantastic.
The old Alamo Movie Theater, now converted to Alamo-Jacks.
Wahoo Creek. I can't wait to revisit this spot in the spring for a picture!!
The Carnigie Building is being restored. I can't wait to get a peek inside when they are finished.
Y'all come see us down in Newnan. I'll be more than pleased to show you around. Maybe you can come and sit a spell........

Reggie Girl, LOVE the post, getting to see pictures of your town. I love nothing more then learning about other places, seeing pictures of where others live. I guess that is how this little gal ended up in Germany, my cat's curiosity about other cultures and customs got the better of me and I just had to see if for myself. Now I am here to stay! Do miss the states though, but blog posts like yours give me a nice feeling, seeing bits and pieces of the USA. Keep those hometown pictures coming, I love them, and I am sure many others will too! Another tidbit about the language barrier with you and the Prince. If you think you have it bad, come to my house, and see wonders. Hubby speaks german, I speak American english, and the kidlets learn British english in school starting in the first grade. We are a mixed up accented crazy bunch! ciao, Debby
ReplyDeleteWhat a super town I love it....you have a great blog....Lani

ReplyDeleteNice post. Hubby and I traveled to Newnan / Coweta County once on a genealogy trip a few years ago (hunting for more HUDSON family). It's a very nice area! There's a lot of history there period.

Hi Reggie Girl
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog and commenting. I just managed to come and read some of yours. Unfortunately I really ought to be in the shower getting ready for work so only read this one. It looks a lovely place. We are in Florida at Easter, but that'll be as close as we'll get this time I'm afraid.
What a great tour!
ReplyDeleteYou also have an Australian blogger ...thank you so much for the tour!
ReplyDeleteWe are in the middle of tragic bushfires so anything at all to lift the spirit is greatly appreciated.
