Organic Gardening and Moving In February

Prince and I are moving into our new lovenest!! This week we are painting. Thankfully Auntie Mom and Cousin Sis are helping. Saturday, we picked some beautiful, warm colors that we think will make our new place feel very homey. I also have to put my veggies and herbs that I have been gently babying into the earth so that by spring they will be ready to harvest. My garden spot is quite large and I can't wait for summer for sweet corn, tomatoes, squash anad zuchinni!!

This is my Flatleaf Parsley, with a little Greek Oregano over to the left.

Early Divider Broccoli....can't wait for this to be ready......

My fragrant Rosemary smells so good that I tempted to eat it by itself.

These are my early Scarlett Red Globe Radishes. Prince loves radishes, I'm just kind of, eh?, about them. But a lot of people like them so I think I'll sell a lot of them.

We definately have our work cut out for us this week, no? Life's a journey.....we're on it!!

  4. Thanks yaya.....we need luck! And we do love our puppies :)

Bella.......try Cilantro or Parsley. Both are really easy :)

Jack Daniels....Nice to find a man who treats a woman the way they should be treated and.....NO I won't take your brother dude. I told you I already have three and am trying to get rid of one of those myself!! For the love of all that's holy - -just keep him. A good knock in the head works occasionally (but only if there are no witnesses):)

  7. What a cool variety of plants. I love radishes - but I only just did one tomato plant last year, this year I may do two...I'm not very adventurous. LOL.

  9. Moving? What a chore that can be, but once you are in, it can be so wonderful. I wish you well with that! As for the herbs, wow, they look fabulous! I don't have a green thumb and can't make anything grow, so the family gives me artificial flowers for special occcaions. :-) I have to envy those who can make things grow! We won't be seeing anything green come up out of the ground over here for quite some time, spring hasn't sprung yet! take care, Debby
