We took our little 3 pound Chihuahua for a little early morning walk and passed a cemetery this morning. Ellie Bee Ribs-Hughes was a puppy mill girl who we got when she was 7 weeks old. She could fit into my pocket when I picked her up that day. She is a lovely girl......though maybe a lil spoiled? She won't allow any of the other pups to come near her and she tells them what to do!! Funny thing is, they all do it, lol. Prince calls her Her Majesty the Queen of the Sofa because she won't let Roxie, Sadie or Gus near her sofa.
****(Okay.....when I viewed my post I have the descriptions of the post all discombobulated......sorry. I'm too sleep to correct it right now, lol)****
Look how sweet she looks peeking out of her little blankie this morning. That's her security sock there with her. She can't face the day or the nightime withut it!! She didn't really want to get up but finally decided to go with us. Look at that darlin face........
While walking, we saw this sign regarding flower removal in the cemetery. Seeing as how today is March 21, I guess their a little bit behind.......
For all of my friends that have been asking, I'm feeling a little better this morning. I'm still running a little bit of fever and my cheek is quite bruised where the surgeon pulled on it. I refuse to let any of this get me down!! I am going to take my low-dose chemo and never miss a beat!! I feel so blessed because I feel like it could have been so much worse. Every day you hear of much worse.
I am one hundred percent confident in my doctor and the prayers and good wishes that I have received from my bloggy friends and my wonderful family. Prince, of course, has been a true Prince through all of this. Every day I feel like I'm living an enchanted life. I wouldn't trade my life for anyone elses in the whole world!!
Hope every one's weekend is filled with much love, joy and LAUGHTER!!

You continue to be in my prayers. Precious picture of the sweet one above!
ReplyDeleteCute Cute Puppy!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're feeling a bit better.
What a cute picture of your puppy all curled up. I just read that you had this surgury and just hope that you are feeling much better soon. I pray that all goes well. I am thankful that you have such a wonderful prince in your life. Your attitude inspires me.
ReplyDeleteI love your attitiude! A good attitude will see you through and help you to heal faster. I know, I'm married to the energizer bunny, he's been beat down so many times but he just keeps on ticking. He says the same thing, all you have to do is to look around and you will see so many people so much worse off than you are, that is where the good attitude kicks in. The Good Lord and a good attitiude can beat anything. Blessings and prayers.
ReplyDeleteGood morning! Just checking in and getting caught up on my blog reading! Happy Saturday!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are feeling a little better!
He looks likes the dog character on Ren and Stimpy.
ReplyDeleteHe is so cute!
Glad you are up and about, enjoying spring, and looking forward to being your old self again.
We are all thinking about you.
What a sweetie.

ReplyDeleteKeep on smiling! You have a wonderful attitude and you're going to be ok.
ReplyDeleteThat little Ellie is adorable! I love her blankie and sock. Too cute! Hope you heal up soon and feel better!
ReplyDeleteElliebee does look a tad bit spoiled but then she is supposed to be right?
ReplyDeleteI suppose you had nothing to do with that.
Going out side now.Glad you feel better.
Ellie is so cute! I love Chihuahua's! I had one for 14 years. Thanks for visiting my blog! I love yours and it's nice to meet you!
ReplyDeleteWell said Gigi. I can only say amen to her comment above. Take care Reggie Girl. You are in our prayers.
ReplyDeleteThat sign was a little late. What's up with that? You have the cutiest puppy ever. She looks very spoiled:) But that is good!
ReplyDeleteHOpe that you are feeling better.
The Queen is so cute. Hope you're feeling better, Reggie.
ReplyDeleteThat sign cracks me up. what if people don't have families are they suppose to jump out of the grave and tidy up.
ReplyDeleteReggie Girl, your teeny-weeny pup is just precious, an absolutely adorable picture. As for you, soooo glad to hear you are feeling a bit better and getting thru this. Keeping you in my prayers. Keep that positive attitude, please. my sister had chemo for breast cancer last year, stayed positive minded all the time and she is doing fine now. A positive attitude is already half winning the battle, dear friend!! i am sending out some verrrrryy positive vibes your way just to keep you on track over there. :-)
ReplyDeletewhat a little sweetie, tiny compared to snuffs who is only 8/9 pounds, with the same attitude in the park! this little mite will keep you going in rough times, wishing you lots of strength and lotsa hugs from london.
ReplyDeleteSending good energy your way! Hope you are feeling 100% very soon.
ReplyDeleteOh...your puppy is so cute! My best friend in Texas has three of them...I hear them barking, or I say 'Yepping' in the background when we talk...I would say the cemetery is a little more than behind!
ReplyDeleteHope you continue to mend nicely. (Mend was a good vocabulary word a few weeks back for my students -- you don't get to use it much. But my red shirt is missing a button, so I have to mend it too. -- Hey, I got to use it again!)
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your blog and discover new things... like a song snippet closing most of the posts.
You, like me, must carry a wide collection of lyrics looking for an occasion.
Get better. Hope I made you laugh.
Don
Hope you continue to recover..... Cute pup,the ruler of our universe is a 6lb mini doxie. She is a little traumatized recently due to the addition of Wall-E, our grandson's pup that we are keeping for awhile. Wall-E has his own blog--Letters To Gavin. His is part chihuahua, and a lot of other breeds, too. Check out his blog-there is a link on my site. Sending good thoughts your way, God bless...
ReplyDeleteRG...Excellent choice of music!!!!

Godspeed, Reggie girl. Get better fast. Your little Ellie Bee is too adorable!!
ReplyDeleteReggie Girl, thank you for your thoughful comment on my post! I am so sorry to hear of your diagnosis, but I also trust that you are in good hands and that things will go well. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
ReplyDeleteFYI...chemo isn't all that bad. Before you know it, your treatments will be done and you will never look back! Peace, my dear friend.
What a sweet picture of your little dog, so pretty. Glad you are feeling a little better. I haven't been looking in very much recently and had to check back to see what the problem was. I had a cyst removed from my cheek but that was 40 years ago and cannot now remember much about how it felt afterwards. Do hope you continue improving. A x
ReplyDeleteAww, your dog looks so cute hiding under all that.. stuff LOL.
ReplyDeleteI hope you continue to feel better. I hate it when people get sick. It slows 'em down and people don't deserve to suffer!
Hi there. I have worked all weekend and go back in tonight. Its 5 in the morning here. I should be in bed.. I am just heading that way.
ReplyDeleteReggie Girl, I guess that is what you call yourself, thanks for stopping and saying hello. Yes, I live in Woodstock, but was born and raised in Atlanta back when they were proud to claim being 500, 000 strong.
ReplyDeleteI am retired and just loving it. I do part-time work for my step-daughter, Dr. Amber, a veterinarian who has a mobile spay and neuter practice covering several counties in North Georgia. She also does animal rescue under Leftover Pets, a non-profit organization, and adopts out dogs and cats at a Pet Smart every weekend. And at least once a month I transport 20 to 30 dogs and puppies to upstate New York to no-kill shelters. Sometimes I transport to Florida and other locations, but the NY trip is a given each month. As a matter of fact, I just got back last night from a trip. I also have been the Santa for LOP at Pet Smart the past three years, having my picture made with the cutest dogs and cats and a ferret and 3 birds and a bag of goldfish. You can go back into my December blogs and see a picture of me as Santa.
Stop by anytime, and I will be checking you out, too. (Bad choice of words?)
Miss Ellie Bee is so adorable and I think most chihuahuas think they are the queen/king. ;) Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better; my thoughts and prayers are with you!!
