ReplyDelete"I will yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance (who is the lifter up of my head)."
ReplyDeleteOr... Yours are great quotes. I put a twist on a familiar saying: "Feed your faith, and starve your fears." Thanks for feeding my faith this morning. (And thanks for the comments over on my blog.)

Lovely picture, and I love the sayings! I love the sound of the birds early in the morning, they can really put me into the right mood for the day. I figure if they can get up that early, then so can I!! But their diverse songs are just fantastic and I am getting good at knowing what bird it is that is singing at what time! :-) Debby
ReplyDeleteWonderful post... love the quotes and the photo.
ReplyDeleteHope you don't mind me snatching these quotes for my quote book!

ReplyDeleteI often wonder how one has faith. Do you learn it? or do you have to experience it? or is it just something you take as law?
ReplyDeleteI wish the same for you girlfriend!
ReplyDeletePerfect for Sunday, Reggie. I loved it---and find that it's faith that guides and directs my everyday life. Without my faith in God and in our fellow men/women, I couldn't make it alone.
ReplyDeleteThanks!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
I really wanted to enjoy the beautiful photo, but all I could think was, "Darn, I wish I had a lens like that."
ReplyDeleteYou know Reggie, every morning before the sun pokes it's head, I hear two Crows, whom I have nicknamed Hekyl and Jekyl letting me know that the day is dawning. Including Sunday! Would you mind putting in a good word with them for me. I don't think they understood your relaxation mantra, "Wishing you all a quiet, restful, reflective Sunday."
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I wish I owned a farm because I wish I could take home every one of those little faces I see when I come here. And Vito is such a little Ham! Hope you had a lovely Sunday Reggie Girl!
Beautiful, Reggie. Faith provides us with the hope of things to come...just like the birds. Hope today was relaxing!
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful quotes!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture... thoughtful quotes and sayings! Loved your post today!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that photo!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a restful weekend. That Tagore quote is great. Many thanks.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from London.
Good picture, good quotes...I'm afraid, however, that I missed the reflective Sunday and had a whiny one instead.
ReplyDeleteI really like Tagore, his works often speak to my soul:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful words, thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI've certainly been reflecting on faith a lot lately as I go through life's trials - good and bad.
ReplyDeleteI've come to the conclusion that it's supposed to be about the character we develop on the journey, not the journey itself. Of course, developing character is easier said than done!
Beautiful moon and words.
ReplyDeleteAmen!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quotes and shot! Thank you for sharing :)
