The subject for Next Friday's Shoot out is:::::GARDENS, GARDENS, GARDENS!!!!!! Scroll on down to see Miss Gigi's exact quote..........
Gigi at afterthoughts got to pick this weeks subject and here is her precise quote...
"So next Friday May 8th, will be Gardens!
Vegetable Garden, Flower Garden, Butterfly Garden, Botanical Garden, Zen Garden, hey even the Olive Garden!
Your own, your mama's, your neighbors, the city's.
Garden supplies, Garden tools, Garden ornaments, Garden furniture.
Please join us next Friday with your pictures!
Remember "No Rules" your own interpretation!
Have fun gardening!"
I think that's a fantastic subject. I do know that it's not spring/summer everywhere but there is something growing and with the open suggestions that gigi has given everyone can find something along these lines.
If you'd like to join our Friday Shoot-Out gang and leave me a comment. As Gigi said, no rules here. Just point and shoot your take on the weekly subject. We just want to see you town take on things.
Thanks to all the wonderful people who were new participants this week......Robyn @ An Alaskan Family, Mildred @ Nalley Valley, Ann in Aukland, Quasimodo@ Calico Girl, Science Girl in France. You all did us proud and we are so happy you've joined us and can't wait to see who will join us for next week. I think a couple of nice ladies from England have told me they were going to join right Miz Margaret and Owl Eng???? I'm really excited about that.
If you would like to join us there's nothing to sign up for or any "special" sites that you have to post at. If you don't mind though, please go to lovely GingerV@flowersandmore.blogspot.com or Cool-hand Gordon's @FridayShoot-outsfromFlorida.blogspot.com and they are kind of keeping a running list on their sites. They will be more than happy to add your name because they're special like that. Simply post your pictures next Friday and please put the words "Friday Shoot-Out in your post title so that we can all have a little look at your snaps.
Hope everyone has a joyful weekend. Prince and I are going to The Cotton Pickin Fair in Gay, Georgia today. We love to go see all the arts and crafts, listen to the music and eat fried green tomatoes........now that's what I'm talkin about :)
Steady On

ReplyDeleteI've been to the Cotton Pickin' Fair before and it was a whole lot of fun. I hope you and Prince have a great, relaxing day!
I am off to work early, but I just found out that this month private gardens are open in New Jersey for us to come and enjoy, so how befitting!

Hi! Thanks for stopping by my kitty blog and leaving such nice purraises! I will visit your Daily Pup often and best of luck to your plans for the shelter, too!
ReplyDeleteI sort of followed along last week, Reggie with Architecture, but haven't officially joined up. I am afraid that I don't get out of the house enough to be committed. Hmmm.. gardens are calling me though.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.x
Okie Dokie, if I can figure out how to link, I will give it a try. I am so looking for the book "Blogging for Dummies". I keep checking Amazon.com, but not luck so far.
ReplyDeleteEither way, I am looking forward to the pics by others.
I love your flower photos! They are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. I enjoy your shoot out posts. One of these days I might join you.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers! I hope you had a great time at the fair. Thank you so much for your kind words on my blog. I would love to join this meme next week. What a lovely cause you have on your blog. Hopefully the donations can build many great shelters. Have a nice week :)
ReplyDeleteOk! I can do this one!
ReplyDeleteYup! I'm gonna do it! I was just out today taking pics of my tulips!
ReplyDeleteI would love to join "the gang"! Sounds like a lot of fun! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna try for something this week. Just my luck it's supposed to rain all week! Is it cheating if I take some pictures out of a magazine?
ReplyDeleteTwice you've asked me to join your Friday shoot-out. I plan to post garden shots tomorrow for "My World." I have taken the camera to town with me, but I've not been able to get good shots. This has been mostly for lack of good light. Okay, rain hindered too. (We've had a very wet spring.)
ReplyDeleteAs to gardens, here in Michigan only the perennials are up just now. Later this month, I'll till the garden area and we'll plant the vegetable garden.
