****Please don't forget to click on the Daily Puppy!!!****
What a beautiful day we had for Rabies Clinic today in Newnan, Georgia. The sun was shining, the birds were singing and the volunteers were volunteering. This is such a wonderful thing to be a part of......taking vaccinations out into the community. You meet the nicest pups, kitty's and humans.
I just can't think of a better way to spend a beautiful Spring day....
(If you asked me a question earlier today, my answer's are in the comment section of that post. Thank you all for asking and you really made me think and/or laugh)
Domino and Biscuit......
Prince a handsome Springer Spaniel....
Ran into a special friend......Coach the Karaoke King with his pups Buster and Wilson....
Alley a rescue kitty came by for a vaccination and to see old friends.....
Smokey. His human says that he was once a feral cat. Now he is loved......
Miz Gail this location's organizer wouldn't let me take her picture so I got a snap of her handsome dad Mr. David and her beautiful daughter Karyn. Look at those smiles...
A gorgeous Collie in line waiting for his turn (sorry Lassie look alike, I can't find where I wrote your name and the mind fades with age, lol).....and dude holding Lassie look alike is soooo not too hard on the eyes is he????............
Domino again. His human says that he is blind from cataracts and he is 17 years old but still young at heart........
The Newnan-Coweta Humane Society's "MARTHA" - Mobile Adoption & Rescue Transport Helping Animal's. That's our presiden bent down inside the door doing what she does. Busy, busy, busy big-hearted lady she is.......
What a great day we had. Thank you to the Vet's who gave their time to do this service for our community. You time means so much and what you do is priceless. To the organizer's extraordinaire, Foster Failure and Miz Gail, you are awesome. To all of the kind people who took time out on a beautifully amazing day, where would these animal's be without you? Your kindness means so much to one's who cannot help themselves and need a human touch. Bless you all for adopting and taking such fine care of your four legged friend's. There's a special place for you.

Reggie Girl,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment. I read your response on your blog in the comments. Awanas is a great group. What's important is that we are each doing what we are called to do. Teaching or transporting kids, caring for animals, caring for spouses...
"In that you've done it to the least of these... you've done it to Me."
Thanks for the well wishes on my back. More importantly, I hope your chemo goes well for you.
I played racquetball for several years with a friend whose shirt said, "Live the dash!"
I thought it was the dash diet (low salt or something). She informed me, "No. It's the dash between day of birth and day of death."
That's what you and I have in common. Both of us are thoroughly engaged in our own sphere of influence: living the dash!
Don
Sounds like you all had a very successful day! You are such a special person to do all this for the sweet animals. Thanks for all you do. Love & blessings from NC!
ReplyDeleteLook at all those sweet puppies. I would have been in heaven.
ReplyDeleteA blog that's for a good cause. Very inspiring. You are an angel! Will definitely follow your blog and come here as often as I can.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, thanks for dropping by my page the other day. Have a nice weekend!
Lindsay gets her rabies shots every April when she has her annual check up. Which reminds me, the vet should be giving us a call to remind us any day now.
ReplyDeleteGreat coincidence. Before Brian and Melody joined us at the beach, they took their three dogs to the rabies clinic in Charleston! On the way home, Melody was driving a tad fast, got stopped by the police...she was saved from getting a ticket because when the cop leaned in to talk to her, Roxie their Rotweiller started licking him on the face. Dogs aren't impressed by uniforms!
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful way to spend a day... all those cute puppies!!! thanks for checking in on me while i was lost in my writing daze... xoxox.... annie
