****Please remember to click on the Daily Puppy at the top of my blog!! :)****
I wanted to take a minute to introduce you to the most important men in my life.
I can't imagine life without any of them.........
This is Lil Bro and me at Christmas 2008 with our Christmas Bears. They are made out of one of my dear Grandmother's old bedspreads. My Grandmother came to live with us in 1977 after our Mom died. Otherwise, we would have all been separated.
This is Big Bro and me at New Year's Eve this year. He and the other Big Bro are twins. This Big Bro was born a few minutes before the other so I suppose that makes him the oldest......technically. I don't get to see him as often as I'd like but we talk to each other whenever we can.......
This is another Big Bro and me at Christmas last year. I don't get to see him as often as I'd like either but we talk to each other whenever we can.......
This is my Prince and I right before a big New Year's Eve celebration this year. I do have "after" snaps but they look at little different, lol. I love this man with everything in me and I don't remember what my life was like before him.
"It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing. It doesn't interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventure of being alive......"

Get well, gal!

ReplyDeleteOh you bet, I'll be clicking those Daily Puppies LOL. Especially today's puppy! I like Siberian Huskies! They're like the Alpha Males of the pack LOL.
ReplyDeleteGlad you found your 'Prince', Prince. LOL. Looks like there are loads of guys around you and I know you feel secured! For some reason, I like hanging out with guys more than girls! I just don't know why! No, I don't act like one of them boys but I kinda do!
Nice tribute to these special guys. Thanks for posting them.
ReplyDeleteYou sure have pretty hair! :)
Good morning Reggie Girl,

ReplyDeleteI LOVE the idea of making teddy bears out of your grandmother's bedspread. I need to look into that here. I miss my grandma SO much.....

A beautiful family. I love Oriah's words. Thanks for the reminder!

RG~you're one lucky lady!
ReplyDeleteWith great hair!
It's nice to grow up with big brothers to take care of you (of course, there was a fair amount of torture involved, too) :). I have two older brothers (sadly, one passed away many years ago), and I am so glad I grew up around boys.
ReplyDeleteI just love brother~ And that puppy dang.. cute as can be! How ya doin'? All is well?
ReplyDeleteI don't have nearly that many men in my life, a hubby and 2 sons, and a brother that is far away. I am surrounded by ladies! RG, your hair, wow!! Can I be jealous!! I used to have long hair too, could almost sit on it, but it got cut off when i started having kids. As for the bedspread bears, love the idea. I should have thought of doing that when I was knee deep into making bears all those years! And LOVE the passage from Oriah, just lovely! Take care, hope you are well (thanks for the great email reply!) Sending a hug your way, Debby
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Reggie Girl,

Thank you for praying for my Mom, it brings me comfort to know that Others pray along with me.

ReplyDeleteBy the way, you made me laugh with "It's raining men!" on the end of your post LOL.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice family you have Reggie Girl! So happy for you. Today's pup looks like a panda bear, very cute.
ReplyDeleteGrandma's are special. Must have been hard to lose your mom at that young age but the mom/grandma combo raised a wonderful gal.

Bagman wants to have his picture taken with your arms around him too. Actually, he doesn't much care if there is any film in the camera.
ReplyDeleteLovely warm pics, RG, a family full of love even if you don't always get to hang out like you are doing in the photos.
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a great weekend! x
That was such a sweet post :)
ReplyDeleteOh man, that Siberean husky is GORGEOUS. Currently, we can only handle an iPet. We have a lovely little golden retriever and some fish. Sadly, our son nearly killed the puppy and broken the iPhone through excessive "petting". I'm thinkin in a few years we'll take the puppy plunge. Thanks for stopping by and stroking my ego...I mean commenting.
ReplyDeleteHi, thanks for sharing your men with us. :-D
ReplyDeleteI wandered over from The Unplugged Artist, enticed by your menopausal moniker. Sweet blog.
Thanks for the comment on my Simply Smooches products. I can do custom designs and labels, but I would need to know more information. My email is nineacresphotography (at) hotmail (d0t) com if you'd like to tell me specifics!
ReplyDeleteWow, all those big brothers! You must have had a difficult time dating as a teen! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THE PUPPY BTW! How I wish I could take 'em in!
