Welcome to my blog

Every hit on my blog generates a small donation of which 100% of the proceeds go to The Newnan-Coweta Humane Society. We are doing our best to build a "No-Kill" shelter here in our beautiful City Of Homes, Newnan Georgia. It's truly a worthy cause. Pay It Forward....It's Worth It

******Please Click On "The Daily Puppy" it is building a little money to help build a NO KILL shelter here in Newnan, Georgia******

"Friday's Shoot-Out" was awesome. Seeing everyone's food, resturant's and watering holes made me gain 6 pounds!!If anyone else would like to participate, let one of us gang member's know.......we would love to see your town. This Friday's subject is 'ANYTHING GOES"!! Pick any subject you'd like and shoot away. We're going to get back to letting member's pick weekly subjects next week but this week the world is your oyster (okay, maybe not the world, lol). Join us won't you??? We have a great time and who doesn't want to be in a gang???

I got this really cool idea from Miz Dot @ Counting My Blessings. This "Pay It Forward" project is simple acts or deeds of kindness are done without expecting something in return, just passing it on, with hope that the recipients of the acts of kindness pass it on. So here’s how it works. I will send a gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment to this post on the blog requesting to join this PIF and they will do so on their blog by posting something similar and so on and so on. Please let me know by comment if you would like to participate. I think you will find it rewarding and fulfilling to do something that takes us totally outside of ourselves and spreads random acts of kindness. Instead of always hearing all of the bad things happening in the world let's make something good happen!! Please leave me a comment on my post if you'd like to participate. I know we're all busy, but it truly on takes just a few minutes. It doesn't have to be anything expensive at all......just a bookmark, a recipe, a packet of flower seeds, just anything that you feel is something something that represents you. Or you could always send something to one of brave soldier's who fight daily so that we can have liberties and freedom.......

This is for Airman Mom...........true heroes indeed...........

American Pride.........this made me think of you again Airman Mom. Thanks for always calling attention to our brave soldiers who fight for our freedoms daily.......

their narrow minded streets"*********~~~~~Glen Campbell~~~~

  9. Reggie Girl, you are a dear heart with so many ideas. I am not clear on the Shoot Out thing..is it an online group or a group that goes around together in person?

Oh let's not forget those fighting hard for us. Thanks for the pics.

I cannot commit to the PIF as I have follow-through issues with my busy life. Happy dog day!

  15. Thanks for thinking of the soldiers. We should think of them more often. We love you, our men and women in uniform!

Great idea you have there, but I am the kind of person who can't remember to send a thank you note until 2 years later. I still have something to send you, and I have not packed it yet. I waited so long to send poor Loida her package, I now have to wait to get her new address. But when I do get it, both packages are going out at the same time!

I have promised myself I was going to email you for a week. So, I am hitting the Post Comment button and going to my email.

Kindness to everyone! I love you all!

  21. Hi Gal, I have not been around to all my favorite blogs of late, and I am missing everýone. Just not enough time in a day to get it all done I guess. I am moving around more now, using only one crutch, so having fun being a bit more independent!! The end is in sight. I hope all is well with you there. Thinking of you, and just wanted to drop by to say HELLO! Have a good Tuesday. Debby
