Wild Game Cook-Offs and Crazy in Alabama

*******Please click on "Kada The Daily Puppy"*********

Okay, Saturday Prince and I drive to Alabama for the annual Stockton Civic Club's Annual Wild Game Cook-Off. We have no clue what's in store but Big Bro and Gypsy Sista need Prince to be a judge. We love to spend a weekend with them so, we're off!!!!!!

The Stockton Water Tower and the sign outside the community center........

This is Prince and Gregory from Overseas Hardwood sampling something called Safari Surprise (they said it was really good....I personally don't eat anything with "surprise" being in the name. You know what I mean???)........

Prince, me and Big Bro sitting outside at the live auction. Prince bought me a gift bag from Dillards for the amazing price of $17.50. It had a 2.5 oz bottle of Dolce and Gabanna perfume, a 2 oz bottle of Lovely be Sarah Jessica Parker and a bottle Jennifer Lopez's new fragrance body lotion. Quite the haul don't you think? I'll bet those other ladies are kicking themselves now because you couldn't see what was inside the gift bag..........

The "Swamp Chili" table. Prince said that was really good stuff.........

These ladies had something going called "Gobbler Gravy".........

Elk Sausage and River Pilaf...........

Prince showing off a little Cajun Deep Fried Pork Tenderloin. I tasted that and it was out of this world awesome.............

This is my Big Bro. He won his category for the 3rd year running!! He's quite the cook but I told his next year Lil Sis is throwing her hat in the ring and the heat is on...............

The also had a car show and Prince was taken with this old Gazelle........

Gypsy Sista and I about to run off and pull a Thelma and Louise in this red Cobra.....

Prince getting a little wild by the 77 Barracuda. You know what they say about those men from Europe (AND their right, lol)............

We had a wonderful weekend. We always have the best time together. We always have, but when I found out I was sick, there's nothing that we don't just go for anymore. We jump at anything and everything that we think will bring us joy and laughter and we live our lives with passion and pursue happiness each and every day. We L~I~V~E while we are alive!!

  8. Reggie,

Do you have any idea how hungry you make me? I seem to always read your blog when I haven't eaten. It's not just the pics it's the descriptive narratives you include.

What's a brother have to do to get an invite?

I'm happy that you and Prince get to share a love, joy and passion for each other; there is a true freedom in that.

    The pics were just great!

  14. Fully agree with you on 'surprises'. So, where's Harvey Keitel when you need him ;-)? And by the way, were you Susan or Geena? It's OK, don't answer, the next picture is the giveaway, Prince is Brad Pitt :-).

    Greetings from London.

  20. I am so glad you had a great time. I'm with you 'surprise' and wild game cook-off at the same time would not be my cup of tea. to win next year you have to start working out your recipe now. Poor Prince you will need to cook the same thing over and over to perfect it....

  21. It looks like you had great time! The food all sounds good. Well, some of it sounds good lol. I love venison, quail, and dove but I'm not sure about some of the others. No raccoon or squirrel for me please lol.

  22. So, are you Thelma or are you Louise!! :-) Love that red car!! I can see me riding around in a cute little number like that. And that barracuda, the car I mean, not your hubby, altho he looked like he was acting every bit the part of a barracuda, and you were going to be his dessert!! :-) give him a hug from me, from one lady with a hot european husband to another!! hugs to you Reggie Girl, Debby (you two really are soooo cute together, I just love it when you post photos of you and Prince. You are both so happy together, it just makes us all smile in our own little lives and know that there IS lots of good in this world!!)

BRING IT ON. I will outcook you in either category. Can't wait till next cook-off a little sibling rivalry will make it interesting. LOL

  24. Maybe you should have a Bloggers Reunion at Next Years Wild Game Cook-Off/Silent Auction/Live Auction/Car Show.

Then they can sample the Wild Game and the Not So Wild Game Camp Food and watch you beat your Big Bros tail in cooking.

Its always in April, we will set the date soon. Will let you know asap.

"Carowner" said you guys were trips and wild and crazy.
